Our Mission Statement

Bernard's Place Rescue is a small group of volunteer dog lovers whose mission is to rescue abandoned, abused, neglected, and injured St. Bernards. We provide sanctuary, medical care, and rehabilitation - teaching them the skills they will need to succeed in their forever home. Ultimately, our goal with each dog is to find a loving and adoptive new home. Our rescue strives to eliminate the large number of homeless, yet adoptable animals by providing people with information and knowledge on responsible pet ownership, which includes the importance of spaying/neutering pets, positive behavior training, good nutrition, and the problem of overpopulation of companion animals.
